What counts as a run?
A run is one AI generation: you describe an idea, pick a style and a model, and get four sketches back. A Standard run on Seedream 5 Flash costs 1 credit; GPT Image 2 costs 3 credits at 2K and 5 at 4K. HD redraws cost 1 or 2 credits, and photo to tattoo, cover-ups and AI try-on cost 1–3 credits for two results — the full table is on this page.
An HD redraw is one high-resolution clean-up of a design you’ve chosen, made with GPT Image 2 — the step that turns a promising sketch into a crisp file you can download or hand to your artist. Previews never use credits; downloading or printing a file from a browser tool costs 1 credit.

Commercial use and licensing
Every plan, including Free, covers personal tattoo use: design something for your own skin and take it to any artist you like. Your artist tattooing a design you made for yourself still counts as personal use.
Selling designs, offering them as flash or printing them on merchandise – shirts, posters, stickers – requires the Artist plan, which includes a commercial license. If you’re not sure whether something counts as commercial, check our terms before you sell.

Can I get a refund?
Yes. If you haven’t used any credits from a 7-Day Pass or other one-time purchase, you get a full refund within 7 days. First-time subscribers get a full refund within 7 days if they’ve used fewer than 20% of the period’s credits. Failed or filtered generations return their credits automatically. Email support@tattoomaker.org with your order number — see the refund section of our Terms.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Pro and Artist renew automatically each month (or year) until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing and you won’t be charged again; you keep your access and credits until the end of the period you paid for. The 7-Day Pass never renews, so there’s nothing to cancel.
Does the 7-Day Pass renew automatically?
No. It’s a one-time payment of $7.99 for seven days of access. When it ends, your account goes back to the Free plan, and you can buy another pass whenever you need one.
Do you offer a student discount?
Not at the moment. If you’re on a tight budget, previews in every tool are free, and the 7-Day Pass is a one-time $7.99 with no subscription.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa and Mastercard, plus WeChat Pay for one-time purchases. Checkout is handled by Waffo, our Merchant of Record, which also calculates any sales tax or VAT and sends your receipt. Your card details never touch our servers.
Can I upgrade my plan?
Yes. Move up whenever you need more – from Free to a pass or subscription, or from Pro to Artist – and your saved designs come with you.
What can I do with the free credit?
New accounts get 1 credit, valid for 30 days: one Standard run of four sketches on Seedream 5 Flash, or one Standard photo edit. GPT Image 2 (2K / 4K) needs credits from a pass, top-up or plan.
Which AI models do I get?
You choose the model each time: Seedream 5.0 Flash (ByteDance) for Standard runs, or GPT Image 2 (OpenAI) at 2K or 4K for premium runs and HD redraws. Every prompt, photo and design is safety-checked, and every design is labelled AI-generated. TattooMaker is independent and not affiliated with these providers.
What happens to my designs after the pass ends?
They stay in your account. When the seven days are up, AI runs pause until you get another pass or a plan, but everything you created remains saved, and files you downloaded are yours to keep.
