About TattooMaker
About TattooMaker, the AI tattoo generator: AI sketches, artists tattoo. Why we built it, how every design is made and what we will never make.

Paper first. Skin last.
Every good tattoo is worked out on paper first — from the flash on a parlor wall to a sketch, a stencil and finally skin. TattooMaker is that paper stage, made faster: describe an idea, get four original sketches in seconds, try them on your own arm, and walk into your appointment with a stencil your artist can use.
What AI is good at — and what it isn’t
AI is great at exploring: dozens of directions for an idea in minutes. It is not a tattoo artist. It doesn’t know your skin, how a line will settle over ten years, or how a design should flow around your forearm. Treat every result as a creative reference and let a licensed artist adapt it — that is their craft.
Which AI we use
TattooMaker is an independent product built on mainstream image models: you pick Seedream 5.0 Flash (ByteDance) for Standard runs, or GPT Image 2 (OpenAI) at 2K or 4K for premium sketches, HD redraws and photo edits. Every design is labelled “AI-generated”, and every prompt, photo and result passes our safety checks — see Content & Safety.
How our galleries are made
- Every gallery image is generated by us with style recipes tuned for tattoo-ready linework.
- A person reviews each image before it is published; anything off-brief, messy or off-limits is removed.
- Facts on our pages — meanings, placement pain ranges, prices — are written as honest ranges, not promises.
